December Mix Online

December 1, 2006

This is it; the final monthly mix of 2006. I felt a bit sad as I was making this as I hate to say goodbye to 2006 as it’s been a fantastic year. However, things seem to be only getting better and better, so onward to 2007!

Starting things off we have the collaboration between Lange and Podcast extraordinaire Gareth Emery with the lovely Back on Track. Following up is Leon Bolier and Cliff Coenraad bringing us the chunky and techy Mighty Ducks which is getting great support from artists such as Sander van Doorn. Next up is one of my favorite tunes from 2003: Solid Globe’s Sahara. But since this is 2006, we’ve got a great rework by none other than Alex M.O.R.P.H. to put the spin on a classic trance tune and mashing it up with North Pole.

Rounding up the mid section of the mix are three floor fillers starting off with the always bangin’ Mac and Mac with appropriately titled Rippin’ Bass. Nearing the end of the mix we have three absolutely massive tunes. Finally the trance scene gets another dose of Jesselyn with the absolutely massive Contact. If there was ever a follow-up to Omnia, this is definitely it. Then we have a wonderful remix by Thomas Bronzwaer with Giuseppe Ottaviani’s already great tune Through Your Eyes. And rounding off this mix and 2006, I bring you my tune of the year: Greg Downey - Vivid Intent.

Enjoy this month’s set. Tracklisting and more information after the jump.
