November Update
Hello Everyone:
First of all I would like to thank you all for your patience as the website nears completion. You may experience some server outages within the next little while but that is due to the having the site upgraded onto a faster, more stable one. The outages will hopefully be minimal but if they do happen, don’t worry, we will be back soon.
I’ve updated my Top 5 for this month as well. Breathe is a song that I just can’t get enough of. The driving bassline just gets the groove going and just screams for people to dance. With an upcoming DJ contest nearing that requires some more house-style tunes I’ve been experimenting more with other genre’s and this was definetly a favorite for me. The Saddest Song remix compiled by Kuffdam and Plant is just beautiful. There’s something about the way it’s put together that just makes me love to play this song. The flow is fantastic and the percussion has that drive to keep things moving along even during the vocal breakdowns. Zonderland has a fantastic pulsing drive in it. Love the bassline in this tune. Definetly a favorite right now. The new remix of Come Around Again is great. Pointed out to me by a good friend of mine (MellyMel) I fell in love right away. Always loved the original so this new mix by Danjo and Styles is a great addition to any tracklist. Finally we have Fire by Ferry Corsten. I had the pleasure of interviewing him a little while ago and he mentioned this was coming up for official release soon. When he played it that night I knew I had to get my hands on this. Just a great release. I can definetly see Flashover becoming an amazing success.
I’ve also updated my MySpace page with some new music cuts from my Energy Web TV sets. Check those out for a listen.
As well, don’t forget to vote for your favorite DJ’s this month on The DJ List.com. Only two more months to go before things are finished up for the year.
November promises to be yet another busy month and things look to have no sign of slowing down in the future so that’s definetly a good thing. Hope to get out and play as many shows as I can in the next little while as well as finally sit down in the studio and get down to releasing my own tracks.
Take care and hope to see you all soon.
Chris
