Mobile Diary 001
I’ve decided to blatantly rip off Gareth Emery with his brilliant idea of a mobile phone diary while on tour. Since I am never more than a few feet from my mobile, I figured it’s the easiest way to document what’s going on without having to lug another camera with me. The camera on my current phone (Blackberry Curve 8310) is pretty decent at 2 mega pixel full colour and takes pretty good shots, so here are a few snaps from the past couple months!

Tunnel between terminals in Detroit Airport. They play this chill-out techno and ambient music and the walls have this funky colour changing screen.

My attempt at smuggling across the US border. This was a stack of about 50 freshly printed AVA Recordings t-shirts I brought down to Miami for WMC (Winter Music Conference) this year. Unfortunately left for some small packing for the rest of my clothes for the week, but I worked it out.

I have a thing about taking pics out of planes. You’ll likely see plenty of these.

I also love whatever in-flight entertainment I can get my hands on. I managed to freeze this system about 20 minutes into my flight on the way to Miami, but it decided to come back on a couple of hours later.

As if I don’t deal with enough intoxicated people when traveling or playing in clubs, I get to come home to have some guy decide it would be a good idea to light a sofa on fire on the sidewalk in front of my house. Awesome.

And this is why traveling with your mobile phone is kind of annoying.

Woo, finally my Macbook Pro has arrived. Yes, I geeked out and took pics of the box.

Denver Airport; pretty awesome really. They designed the roof to look like mountains.

Quite a lovely hotel in Denver, though I think I spent all of 2hrs total in it and never actually slept in the bed…

… as someone else was already occupying it, courtesy of Andy Moor.

Apparently they need to spice things up in Denver Airport.
